Ancient Dogs

An adaptation of the dogs featured in the "Book of Kells" on the page of Zachariae.

The Book of Kells - The manuscript takes its name from the abbey in Kells, Co. Meath.  This was its home for centuries. Today it is on permanent display at  the library of Trinity College in Dublin.  It contains four Gospels of the New Testament in latin transcribed and illuminated by Celtic monks ca 800.
